Modern engineering is increasingly based on the integration of autonomous systems, practice-oriented education, local manufacturing, and cross-industry partnerships. In the new innovation paradigm, Ukrainian companies are shaping their own models of presence — flexible and capable of scaling both experience and technology. As a market-shaping player, accumulating the most effective practices rooted in Eastern Europe, the parent company of BEETLESS — DroneUA continues to implement a long-term strategy in the U.S. market, aimed at building a local engineering network with Ukrainian roots.
On June 21, DroneUA for the second time became a sponsor of FamilyFest — a large-scale STEM festival held at the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The company’s participation in the event once again reflected DroneUA’s systemic presence in the U.S. market, implemented through the operations of its American branch — Futurology. For over 11 years, the company has been focused on building a technological ecosystem that spans continents.
Alongside the development of autonomous solutions markets, DroneUA actively collaborates with educational institutions and supports STEM and CTE programs. The company is shaping an environment where a new generation of engineers, operators, and developers gains not only knowledge but also access to cutting-edge technologies, practical cases, and mentorship. This is a strategic investment in the future of the industry — both in Ukraine and the United States — where human potential becomes the key driver of technological transformation.
At FamilyFest 2025, DroneUA showcased its expertise in additive manufacturing, autonomous robotic systems, and unmanned technologies — implemented both through ready-to-use products and through educational, research, and manufacturing initiatives. A key element of the exhibition display was an agricultural drone assembled at the company’s own production facilities in Pennsylvania.
“FamilyFest creates shared touchpoints with those shaping a new engineering culture — from youth and students to educators, local entrepreneurs, and representatives of tech companies. For the second year in a row, we’ve taken part in this event as sponsors, bringing with us the experience built over more than a decade in Ukraine — in an environment of high technological dynamism and applied demand. And today, we see how this experience resonates within the American context,” said Valerii Iakovenko, co-founder and managing partner of DroneUA and Futurology.
“We engage young people in a real engineering environment — it’s part of our long-term model for shaping a new generation of technology leaders,” commented Valerii Iakovenko.
DroneUA expresses its gratitude to the team at the American Helicopter Museum for their partnership and openness to collaboration. Thanks to initiatives like this, unique platforms emerge for the intersection of technology, education, and community — where every demonstration becomes a gateway into the world of innovation. Together, we are shaping a culture of the future — one grounded in knowledge, resilience, and continuous development.
